This is not a photo session, it's a family adventure! This is perfect for families who want to be captured as their most natural selves in a beautiful and exciting location!!
We always think about having a photographer on hand for special events: weddings, birthday parties, baby showers, and 1 year old cake smash! Don't get me wrong, I'm 100% a proponent for having a camera person on hand for those days as well.
As my years as a mother progress, I realize the moments I cherish most happen in my day to day. It feels as though I was just bringing home a tiny baby boy clutched to my chest and today he is over 1/2 my height and much too opinionated to be hugged that long anymore.
I wish someone had told me that tomorrow everything would be different. I took a lot of pictures but wasn't in a lot of them (pitfall of being a photog-mom). Setting aside time to enjoy each other's company is so important to our little trio. Having these memories to look back on is priceless. What are those memories worth to you?!

Where are you Located?
I am located in New Hampshire but I travel to Maine, Massachusetts, and, for additional fees, Rhode Island and Vermont. Generally, if a session is an hour of travel or under, it is at NO extra cost to you. Anything beyond of that will require some travel expenses be added to the cost of your session.
New England weather is so fickle! One minute it's sunny and blue skies, the next a Nor'easter is blowing through!! If we are not in danger of getting sick or gear getting damaged... let's go for it!! We can have tons of fun in a light rain or a snow flurry!! Of course, there is the option to reschedule if the weather is a condition you are not willing to work in. Your deposit would simply transfer to the new date.
What happens when the weather is poor?
When will I get my gallery?
You can expect your gallery to be turned around within 2 to 3 weeks of our session. Any material goods (prints, boxes etc) will be delivered within 2-3 weeks of your selection of images.
Do you give out RAW/unedited photos?
Short Answer: No.
But here's my heart behind that answer. I want us to have a trusting work relationship. I won't have images tucked away that I want to keep for my own personal use. If it's viable and varies from the rest of the images in your gallery, I'll include it in your gallery. No photographer worth their salt is sitting on images that they believe will satisfy or wow their clients. The same goes for me. If I don't include an image, there is a specific reason why and my excluding it would only be serving you.
What is a "Field Day" Session?
Well first off... YES. It is as fun as it sounds! We are basically going to plan an actual family time for you and your clan so I can tag a long and capture it! We can do a day at the beach, apple picking, or whatever you can dream up that fits in our 3 hour appointment!! During this time I plan to capture intimate moments between you and your kiddos, romantic shots with you and your partner, and all of the fun, goofy, sweet, and silly things in between. Your gallery from this session will be more than just posed photos, it will be story driven! And I hope to capture the true essence of what makes your family special.
Do you shoot anything else?
I don't offer event photography at this time. I prefer to focus on what has inspired me which is family portrait photography. I'd be happy to provide you with a couple of references that fit your specific needs.
